About
Calibre Sound is an award winning music composition company. Led by producer David James Pilcher and with access to a team of experienced composers and musicians, we specialise in writing music to picture.
We won the 2017 Creative Circle bronze award for our music on Sainsbury's main Food Dancing campaign, and have composed
for other brands such as: Footlocker, House of Fraser, Shell, Guinness, Pringles, McDonalds, Baileys, Adidas, Finlandia, Clearscore, BT, William hill, LV=, Subway and many more. We also have experience composing brand themes and pneumonics, successfully creating ones for the rebranding of STC (Saudi Telecom Company) and Bion vitamins.
We have a wealth of experience composing for artists and to corporate briefs, to tight time frames, and in a variety of genres. We work fast and at any hours required, and are always happy to make as many changes and edits that are required to get the result you are looking for.
Studio
We have years of experience in professionally recording, editing, mixing, and mastering for commercial releases. We utilise a mix of analogue and digital equipment as well as the best audio software to achieve a very high quality result.
We also offer analogue Reel to Reel mastering with our high quality Revox 2-track 15ins per second tape machine. If you want your track to have that lovely vintage warmth then this is a great option, which cannot be really achieved in the digital realm.
